It was ok for the day. I took my baby and toddler as it was a nice day. There were teens floating all around using inappropriate language which I didn't care for. Also a couple years ago had a bad experience my son went to play basketball and a gun was pulled on him. I went up and called the police. Nothing was done. I dont feel the police even did anything I went riding around and never saw the police one time. I heard this used to be a nice neighborhood but now it has its moments where the crimes are happening

An old park that has been renewed multiple times over the years. Wonderful trees in this park and ample shade. Plenty of parking. The residential neighborhood that encircles the park makes this place have a solid community feel.

I stopped to go to an outdoor market. I did see families with their small children at the water sprinkler. There was also a colorful juggling gym for climbing facing a school. The park looked well kept. I felt safe. There is another side for bigger children. Plenty of parking

I know everyone has a lot of bad things to say about Akron FP whatever. However Iβve lived here all my life & of course problems will find you if you input yourself etc. Iβm not saying bad things or accidents etc donβt happen however in my 31 years of living in this area Iβve never personally had problems. The splash park is beautiful & a great addition to the park itself along with the beautiful walking path. Always very quite & fun when we go, I recommend.

The Akron Symphony performed quite a selection of music for many to enjoy on a beautiful August evening! The locust also made some music of their own!
